Is There a ‘Safe’ Gel for Clients with Nail or Dermal Allergies?
We often receive questions from nail techs looking for a “safe” product for clients with existing nail or dermal allergies. The truth is—there is no such product.
If a client has already developed a nail allergy, we do not recommend using any UV/LED gel system on them, as the likelihood of a reaction or flare-up is extremely high. Once an allergy is present, continued exposure to any gel formulation can worsen the condition.
Choosing the Right Base Builder for Nail Health
Selecting the right base builder depends on the individual’s nail condition and needs. Each of our base building gels is designed with a specific purpose in mind:
